1988
was the beginning of the Black Angus herd at Char-Lin Ranch, also
becoming members of the American Angus Association. The first breeding
animals were purchased from Spur and Drake farms.
In 1998, we began an AI program using only the best and highly proven
Angus bulls. The first progeny are coming up to be great cattle, and
we're very optimistic about the future of our herd.
In 1999, we raised over 500 calves. We also added 20 performance
tested bulls, most of which indexed over 100 for growth, possessed a
milk EPD of +15 lbs or higher, and scanned positive for marbling.

We have always demanded growth and
maternal ability from our cattle, and are increasing our attention to
carcass quality.
We have a large number of females of all ages for sale, and also offer
a limited number of bulls each year. Please feel free to call, email,
or just stop by the ranch anytime! |
